The Shimano Ultegra PD-8000 Pedals sit at the serious end of road pedal performance — a carbon composite body kept to 248g for the pair, reinforced with stainless-steel body plates that add stiffness and extend the pedal's working life. SPD-SL cleats are included, and the wide platform body increases shoe contact area for more consistent power transfer through the pedal stroke.
A 10mm stack height from axle centre to cleat top keeps you closer to the pedal, which matters on long days in the saddle where even small positional details compound. The sealed cartridge axle unit is designed to run with minimal maintenance — clean, smooth rotation without regular re-greasing. The 6 degrees of float gives your knees natural movement without sacrificing platform stability. Available in standard and 4mm longer axle options to dial in your stance width.
