4. Typical Content of a Joie Pact DUO Set:
- Joie Pact™ stroller chassis with seat unit
- Infant car seat adapters
- Stroller Rain Cover
- Carry bag for the stroller
- One of the Joie Infant Car Seats (i-Snug™/i-Snug 2™ or i-Gemm™/i-Gemm 3™)
- Optional and often sold separately: ISOFIX Base (fixed or swivel) for the chosen infant car seat.
5. Key Points to Consider When Choosing Your Joie Pact DUO System:
- Ultra Portability: The main appeal of the Pact is its extremely light weight and super compact fold, ideal for travel, public transport, and storage in small spaces.
- Simplicity and Convenience: The focus is on ease of daily use. The seat is not reversible and the handlebar is fixed, features common in strollers of this category to optimize weight and folding mechanism.
-
Infant Seat Choice:
- Joie i-Snug / i-Snug 2: If the priority is to keep the system as light as possible, the i-Snug (especially the i-Snug 2) is the perfect choice, complementing the lightweight nature of the Pact stroller.
- Joie i-Gemm (e.g., i-Gemm 3): If you prefer a slightly more robust infant seat, with simultaneous harness and headrest adjustment, and one that serves up to a slightly higher height, the i-Gemm is an excellent alternative, adding a little more weight to the set.
- ISOFIX Base Convenience: Adding an ISOFIX base (fixed or swivel like the i-Base Encore) to your chosen infant seat significantly increases the ease and safety of installation in the car, although it adds an extra cost. The rotation of the Encore base is a major benefit for parental comfort.
- Urban Use: The Pact is ideal for use on smooth surfaces and in urban environments.
**THE AVERAGE LIFESPAN OF ALL CAR SEATS IS APPROXIMATELY 7-10 YEARS FROM THE DATE OF MANUFACTURE (ALWAYS CHECK MANUFACTURER'S INDICATION).**
**BEFORE PURCHASING, ALWAYS CHECK SPECIFIC COMPATIBILITY BETWEEN THE STROLLER, SEAT, AND BASES, AS WELL AS COMPATIBILITY WITH YOUR VEHICLE. CONSULT THE PRODUCT MANUAL FOR DETAILED INFORMATION ON INSTALLATION AND USE.**
Note: Specifications, colors, included accessories, and compatibilities may vary slightly between different model versions, markets, or specific retailer promotions.
