The Philodendron micans is renowned for its velvety, heart-shaped leaves that typically exhibit deep green to bronze hues. Recently, a variant known as the "pink variegated" or "pink micans" has garnered attention among plant enthusiasts.
Care Guidelines: Proper care is vital to maintain its vibrant appearance:
- Light: Provide bright, indirect light to enhance leaf coloration.
- Watering: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent overwatering.
- Humidity: Maintain moderate to high humidity levels, as philodendrons thrive in humid environments.
- Temperature: Keep in a warm environment, ideally between 65-80°F (18-27°C).
