Live sheet moss – flat living moss for terrariums and kokedama
Live sheet moss is useful where a planted surface needs green coverage and moisture retention. It is a living layer, so it needs suitable humidity and light to stay fresh.
What to expect
- Flat coverage: covers substrate surfaces neatly
- Terrarium use: works in humid planted glass
- Kokedama fit: can wrap or finish moss-ball projects
- Gentle moisture: keep evenly damp without soaking
Final notes
Use smaller pieces around roots, stones and terrarium edges. Keep contact even and avoid burying the moss under soil, gravel or heavy decoration.
How to get started
Live sheet moss works best in humid builds where it can stay evenly damp. For dry, decorative top-dressing in open pots, use preserved or dried materials.
How to use Live sheet moss

- Finishing: Works for kokedama, moss balls, and small landscape edges.
