Tillandsia tenuifolia 'Emerald Forest Dark' is a cultivar selected for its unusually rich, dark green foliage and elegant form. This variation of the species Tillandsia tenuifolia is native to parts of Brazil, Argentina, and surrounding regions, typically found growing in open woodlands and on rocky outcrops. The 'Emerald Forest Dark' form is particularly appreciated for its glossy, narrow leaves and the contrast it offers when in bloom, producing delicate pink to lavender bracts with pale violet flowers. It maintains a compact habit and performs well in indoor and shaded outdoor conditions.
