- The philodendron Congo Rojo is an attractive warm weather plant that produces showy flowers and interesting leaves. It gets the name “rojo” from its new leaves, which unfurl in a deep, shiny red. As the leaves mature, they fade to a burgundy green color.
- Caring for a philodendron Congo Rojo is very easy, as long as you keep it warm. The plant is very cold sensitive and will suffer serious damage below 40 F. (4 C.). While it can tolerate short periods of extreme heat, it will also have trouble if exposed to temperatures over 100 F. (38 C.) for too long. Its ideal temperatures are between 76 and 86 F. (24-30 C.) during the day and between 65 and 72 F. (18-22 C.) at night.
- As members of the philodendron family, Red Congos prefer bright indirect light, though they can adjust to medium levels of light as well. Keep them out of harsh direct sunlight, as too much of it can burn their leaves.
- Let your Red Congo dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly when topsoil is dry, usually once a week. Avoid overwatering, and note that your watering schedule may be less frequent during winter months.
- Native to South America, the Congo Rojo is different from many other philodendrons in that it doesn’t have a climbing or vining habit. Growing instead in a “self-heading” manner, it grows both outward and upward, peaking at about 2 feet (61 cm.) in height and 2 ½ feet (76 cm.) in width. Its flowers are very fragrant and come in shades of red, green, and white.

Cute, college Gameday toy! My dog tore it up in within 30 minutes. Not for heavy chewers. 😟

These plates are very convenient for busy days and parties, hold up well with regular meals.
Size: 10inch-140, Size: 10inch-140
I grabbed these for the upcoming summer because we have so many events coming up: graduation party, kids sleepovers, family gatherings and honestly even for those lazy evenings when I am just too tired to deal with dishes. I am actually very happy with them because they hold up much better than many disposable plates I've tried before. The plates feel sturdy enough for regular meals and snacks without immediately bending or getting soggy. One thing I appreciate is that they were even reusable for lighter drier snacks like nuts, crackers or cookies. If the food wasn't greasy or wet, we could easily use the plate a second time which actually helped reduce waste during busy gatherings because i noticed people going around and reusing for multiple foods. My son use them to do a quick warm up in the microwave for a slice of pizza but was only for 30 seconds and it seemed fine so i can say they are microwave safe but for shorter cycle. I love the white background with blue trim details. These are really practical plates to keep stocked up at home considering the great bulk value of 140 plates, very convenient, sturdy and a huge help when you want easier cleanup without constantly washing dishes. Lifesaver!
Here is how I rate items:
5 Stars = Exceeds expectations, a good find.
4 Stars = Very good quality, worth trying.
3 Stars = Decent and does what is says.
2 Stars = Below expectations with noticeable issues.
1 Star = Very poor quality, would not recommend.

Sturdy and Elegant: The Perfect Heavy-Duty Plates for Hassle-Free Entertaining.
Size: 10inch-140
Planning large family dinners and outdoor gatherings requires reliable tableware that can handle a full menu without falling apart, and this 140-pack of 10-inch paper plates from BYSNOW is an exceptional choice. Featuring a beautiful blue leaf pattern, these plates bring a refined look to the table while delivering the structural strength needed for heavy entrees. They are also microwave safe. I used these for a recent family gathering, and they held up perfectly from appetizers through the main course.
The quality of the thickened cardboard construction is impressive. These plates are incredibly sturdy and do not bend, warp, or collapse under the weight of substantial foods like grilled steaks, pasta, or loaded burgers. They are engineered with an upgraded leak-proof surface that handles moisture and oils seamlessly, preventing any sogginess or tearing even when guests are using sharp utensils.
With 140 pieces in the bulk pack, it is incredibly convenient to have a steady supply on hand for picnics, barbecues, and celebrations without the need for constant restocking. Cleaning up after an event is entirely effortless since they can be disposed of right away, saving valuable time that would otherwise be spent washing dishes. For any host looking for a combination of durability, aesthetic appeal, and convenience, this heavy-duty plate set offers fantastic value and performance.
