About the Echeveria Laurensis
Echeveria Laurensis is a compact succulent with blue leaves adorned by a dreamy pink edge, creating a dazzling appearance. In its optimal state, the fusion of blue and pink transitions into shades of purple to orange-red, delivering a stunning visual display. The slender, spoon-shaped leaves are delicately thin, with slightly upturned tips, resembling a budding lotus flower. Known for its clustering nature, Echeveria Laurensis is a must-have for those who appreciate multi-headed succulents. The bell-shaped flowers exhibit hues of pink and yellow.
How to Care for Echeveria Laurensis
Sunlight: For optimal care, expose Echeveria Laurensis to full outdoor sunlight during spring and fall. In seasons with reduced light, such as autumn and winter, maintain vibrant colors by providing approximately 10 hours of supplemental grow light.
Temperature: Echeveria Laurensis, like most Echeveria succulents, thrives within the temperature range of 40-95°F. For extreme temperatures, implement frost and sun protection.
Watering: With moderate water storage in its leaves, adhere to the Soak and Dry watering method for Echeveria Laurensis, ensuring timely moisture replenishment.
Soil and Pot: Create a well-draining mix by combining 30% succulent potting soil with 70% perlite or coarse sand. Opt for pots with drainage holes to support the succulent's health.
Propagation: Echeveria Laurensis propagates easily through leaf cuttings or offsets.
Diseases and Pests: Echeveria Laurensis may be susceptible to infestations from scale insects and butterflies. Regularly remove dried leaves and, if necessary, utilize insecticides for pest control.
