Kumara plicatilis (Aloe plicatilis) is an attractive and interesting accent plant to have in a sunny garden. It easy to grow and suited for any well drained soil in full sun. It is a winter grower, sometimes a tricky grower and prone to rot.

Growing rate: It grows slowly, but not agonizingly so - being able to increase its height by 10-20 cm per year under favorable conditions. It is a long-lived plant and once established, it will be content in its position and with its soil for years. It is often in danger of being overgrown, smothered and killed by faster growing plants in its vicinity.

Exposure: It can tolerate moderate shade, and a plant that has been growing in shade should be slowly hardened off before placing it in full sun as the plant will be severely scorched if moved too suddenly from shade into sun.

Watering: It tolerates weekly watering in the summer, once a month, or not at all in the colder months of winter. Can withstand long periods of drought, but they will thrive and flower more profusely if watered in the correct season.

Hardiness: It can take a few degrees of frost in winter as well, but prefers hot summers. It grows much better outdoors in spring and summer.

My Female GSD loves
Size: Medium (2.5"), Style: Fetch Pack 1, Size: Medium (2.5"), Style: Fetch Pack 1
Shasta is my smallest. Six in December (2025) along with her brother. She’s 100 lbs and outside, completely ball driven see last picture. Don’t let the size (2.5”) of these Chuck-It balls deter you. If your larger Breed dog has any orthopedic issues, has already torn their ACL etc, one has arthritis but wants to play. This size is perfect! Shazzy was born with several ortho issues. I don’t throw balls distance but right to her. This size and lighter weight assure even when Shazzy is spazzy w excitement, she’ll catch the ball mid air. The green balls are softer, and glow in the dark. In summer we can play well past dusk and I can see them! Her personality shows in the pictures. Playing ball is part of her. These balls are just perfect for her situation. Somehow they disappear, she loves making baskets, puts them in my tractor bucket, or my gardening bucket..then get put in burn pile, trash etc. I keep replacing them because she’d look day and night if we actually ran out!! 🙏✝️👍🏼👍🏼

INDESTRUCTIBLE!
Our lab chews through every “indestructible” toy within a few hours. This ball is amazing! He has not been able to destroy this toy! Highly recommend for your most aggressive chewer!

Our dog is very happy with this ball!
Our lab is an aggressive chewer and LOVES his toys. I was looking for a chew toy that had a different shape than a regular ball or Kong and saw this. Our dog LOVES this toy because he can chew it when he wants to be alone and it keeps him entertained (especially when stuffed with food). He also plays "catch" with us by rolling the ball toward us with his nose. So far there is no indication that he is damaging it so I'm very pleased with the durability.

Bouncy and firm
Lasted a day so far! I'm hopeful it'll last at least a week. Light enough to bounce compared to her Kong ball.

Thus is Great
They so far are indestructible in the jaws of my two large German Shepards. To be fair, this is NOT a ball to toss because it seems to be more in the cannonball family than in the soft dog toy world. Each of my pups love their Monster K9 balls but when they drop it on our hardwood floors, the whole household knows where they are.
