Botanical description
Anthurium warocqueanum originates from Colombia. The species is not endangered but very rare in the plant trade.
Appearance.
The leaves of Anthurium warocqueanum are elongated, narrow and can grow up to 1.2 meters long under optimal conditions. They have a velvety surface and prominent white veins that give the plant its characteristic appearance.
Care.
Anthurium warocqueanum thrives in a well-drained soil mix, preferably a mix of orchid bark, sphagnum moss and perlite, such as our aroid mix, to mimic the plant's natural epiphytic growing environment as an indoor houseplant. Anthurium warocqueanum thrives in indirect light and high humidity. Water regularly but allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings to avoid root rot.
