Seasonality: Year Round
From Florida’s official state tree, the Cabbage Palm, comes the edible inner portion of the stem known as Hearts of Palm. Extremely perishable, Hearts of Palm are imported from Costa Rica.
Hearts of Palm from Melissa’s are hand packed for excellent quality. Refrigerate after opening.
Hearts of Palm from Melissa’s require no additional preparation and are delicious served in crudités wrapped with slices of Serrano ham or prosciutto.
Ingredients: Hearts of Palm, water, salt, citric acid, ascorbic acid.
