Royal Hawaiian® Hawaiian Punch Elephant Ear is a stunning choice for tropical foliage enthusiasts or gardeners new to the wonderful world of Colocasia! Though vigorous in your beds and containers, Hawaiian Punch tops out at 36” by the end of the season, making it a great choice to add a bit of exoticism to smaller garden spaces. Plant Elephant Ears in the spring after all chance of frost has passed. Choosing a sunny to part-sun location, in rich, moisture-retentive soil. For gardeners in Zones 8-10, Royal Hawaiian® Hawaiian Punch Elephant Ear can stay in the ground, mulched well. For gardeners in cooler climates, let the frost wilt the leaves, then either dig them or bring your container into a dry, cool, dark location that stays above 40F, such as a garage or basement. Royal Hawaiian® Hawaiian Punch Elephant Ear is seldom severely damaged by deer.
