Watering and Feeding
Watering Stomatium Mustellinum is no task. They require a regular amount of water like any other succulent. The soil should be fully moisture-free between waterings. While it is not necessary to feed succulents, you can accelerate their growth by feeding them during the growing season.
Soil
Sow the plant in a gritty and sandy soil mix. More than 50% of the mix should include pumice or perlite and the end product of the soil should feel loose and ventilated.
Hardiness
Stomatium Mustellinum grows best in the summer season. Talking about its frost tolerance, it is anywhere between -23.3 °C (-10 °F) to -20.6 °C (-5 °F). The hardiness zone is 6a to 10b.
Light
The plant thrives in ample bright and direct sunlight. Whether you place them outdoors or indoors, make sure they are exposed to frequent hours of direct sunlight except during the hottest days in the summer season.
Propagation
Propagate through leaf cuttings during the summer and autumn seasons. Cut off a healthy leaf, and lay it flat with the base of the leaf close to the soil. Provide the right care and see the leaf growing in a week or two.
Apart from being an attraction to the eye, the Night-Blooming Ice Plant is also famous for letting out a fragrance that drastically improves the overall atmosphere of wherever the plant is growing.
