  • Grown, Packaged and Shipped exclusively by Wekiva Foliage. Select a location for your papaya plant where it will have full sun. The plant grows 20 to 30 feet tall and should be spaced 8 to 10 feet apart. Papayas will grow in nearly any type of soil as long as the soil drains well.
  • When the fruit starts to ripen, the skin will start to turn yellow or orange, and you can pick the fruit when 1/10 to 1/3 of the skin has changed color. The fruit will be sweeter the longer you allow it to ripen. Keep the papaya at room temperature to allow it to fully ripen and change color. Ripe fruit will keep in the refrigerator for four to seven days.
  • Water the plants regularly to keep the soil moist. The frequency depends on the weather and soil type. Sandy soils should be watered every one to two days in hot weather, while loam soil only needs water every three to four days.
  • Add a 2- to 6-inch layer of mulch, keeping it 8 to 12 inches from the trunk of the papaya to help retain soil moisture and control weeds.
  • The Red Lady papaya plant grows in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 9 to 11.

I have 2!
Color: Coal Black
My office is in my loft. But there are things along the wall I don’t want to look at. These work great. Hides what I don’t want to see & is a classy look in the room. Sturdy, easy to assemble, well made.

Horrible Product, Even Worse Packaging!
DO NOT BUY THESE! These are junk. Cheap wood - like balsa. Poorly packaged - no protection between wood and packaging. Crap experience, lesson learned!

Cute tall shelves but not depth enough!
These are nice, but although they aren't depth enough from the wall. They are no bigger than 2.5-3 inches depth. If you have photos or any other narrow items, you'll be perfectly happy. But for books they are not good at all. Unfortunately I returned them.

Misinformed dimensions
This product misinformed me of size. It’s 47.235” in length not 48” as advertised. This is just another means of manufacture cheating customers with false information. I did not return as I was just moving into home. I was also in a hurry to finish the installation since I bought three of these not knowing the truth. You can make your own choice but I needed 48” and paid for 48” and got shorted. I used the shipping box to make an template to install brackets that manufacture did not provide.
