Features and Mode of Action
- Broad-Spectrum Weed Control: Adventus Super is engineered to tackle a wide range of common weeds that pose threats to wheat crops. From grassy weeds to broadleaf varieties, this herbicide offers comprehensive control, providing farmers with a one-stop solution for weed management.
- Advanced Formulation: The herbicidal formulation of Adventus Super is based on cutting-edge scientific principles, ensuring high efficacy with minimal impact on the surrounding environment. Its innovative blend delivers exceptional performance while maintaining a commitment to sustainability.
- Residual Activity: Adventus Super doesn’t just eliminate existing weeds; it also offers residual activity to prevent weed resurgence. This ensures long-lasting protection, giving wheat crops the advantage they need to establish and flourish.
- Crop Safety: Designed with the well-being of wheat crops in mind, Adventus Super is carefully crafted to minimize any adverse effects on the target plants. This herbicide provides the necessary balance between potent weed control and crop safety.
- Ease of Application: Adventus Super is easy to apply, whether through traditional spraying methods or advanced application technologies. Its user-friendly nature makes it a convenient choice for farmers seeking efficient and hassle-free weed management.
Mode of Action:
In agreement with other herbicides of sulfonyl urea group, the primary target site of action is the enzyme acetohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS). Both the actives are phloem-xylem mobile in the target weed both via the foliage and via the soil, with clear predominance of foliar action. The visible symptoms of herbicide action are arrested growth within first few days after application and the appearance of chlorotic patches, followed by slow shoot necrosis. Susceptible plants stop growth almost immediately after post-emergence application. Plants will be completely killed in 4 to 6 weeks after application.
| Crop | Target pest | Dosage/Acre Formulation (ml) | Dilution in water (L) Per Acre | Waiting Period (PHI) in Days |
