This cultivar features velvety, soft leaves in a silver hue, edged with deep chocolate-brown tones. The leaves are elongated with a slightly rippled texture, creating a lush and dense carpet effect when grown in ideal conditions. 'Chocolate Soldier' also produces small but striking flowers that are usually bright orange or red, adding a splash of colour against the dark foliage. This plant is a member of the Gesneriad family, closely related to African violets, and is well-suited for indoor environments or shaded tropical gardens.
