Self-watering planter kits offer a number of benefits for the garden, as well as the gardener. Not only will you save time, but you'll also conserve water while growing happy, healthy plants!

Overview:
Specially designed for the VegTrug planters, the self-watering planter kit offers a large, sub-soil water reservoir with a fill tube and water level indicator. Deep soil pockets in the reservoir create a wicking effect, delivering the perfect amount of water for your plants.
Bottom watering your garden boasts several benefits that will save you time and money. Easily be away from your garden for a couple days without worrying about the weather. The VegTrug self-watering kit eliminates over-watering, while encouraging deeper root growth and giving plants water when they need it.
With overhead watering to a minimum, more nutrients will stay in your planter, rather than washing away through drainage holes. With the reservoir under the soil, water is protected from evaporation.
Features & Benefits:
- Conserve water and encourage deep root growth in your VegTrug planter
- Rest assured a weekend away won't hurt your garden
- Reduce the effects of over-watering on your plants
- Retain more nutrients in your planter
- Easily add water via the fill tube
- Fill tube lid prevents debris or critters from getting stuck
- A water level gauge clearly shows when to add water
