Senecio herreianus ‘String of Watermelon’ is a charming trailing succulent admired for its bead-like leaves that resemble miniature watermelons, complete with delicate striping. The leaves are more elongated than those of the closely related String of Pearls, giving the plant a distinct, graceful drape as it spills over the edges of containers or hanging baskets. With its vibrant green color and subtle variegation, Senecio herreianus ‘String of Watermelon’ adds a playful yet elegant touch to succulent collections. It thrives in bright, indirect light and well-draining soil, requiring minimal water to maintain its plump, glossy foliage. Small, cinnamon-scented white flowers may appear seasonally, adding to its appeal.
