Pothos 'Neon Queen' – A Bold, Variegated Showstopper for Your Space

Pothos 'Neon Queen' is a strikingly beautiful and easy-care houseplant that brings a vibrant, variegated twist to the classic pothos family. Unlike standard neon pothos, this variety boasts splashes and streaks of creamy white variegation over bright chartreuse foliage, making each leaf a unique piece of living art. If you love pothos plants but want something with even more personality and visual impact, ‘Neon Queen’ is the perfect choice.

Whether you’re an experienced plant parent or just getting started, this pothos offers effortless beauty with minimal maintenance. It thrives in a variety of light conditions, handles occasional neglect, and purifies your indoor air while adding a fresh, lively touch to any room.

Plant Highlights – What Makes Pothos 'Neon Queen' Special?

  • Unrivaled Variegation – The bold contrast of neon green and creamy white makes this plant stand out among pothos varieties. No two leaves are alike!
  • Low-Maintenance Beauty – Perfect for busy plant lovers, it thrives in low to bright indirect light and is highly forgiving.
  • Air-Purifying Powerhouse – Helps remove toxins from the air, improving indoor air quality while adding a pop of color to your space.
  • Fast-Growing Vine – Quickly develops long, trailing stems, making it ideal for hanging baskets, shelves, or climbing up a moss pole.
  • Adaptable & Resilient – Handles a range of light and humidity levels, making it a great choice for homes, offices, and even low-light corners.

Why You Need Pothos 'Neon Queen' in Your Collection

If you already love pothos plants, the ‘Neon Queen’ will instantly capture your heart with its unique coloring. The variegation can range from subtle streaks to dramatic splashes of white and cream, giving your plant a one-of-a-kind appearance that evolves as it grows.

Unlike other pothos varieties that maintain a solid color, ‘Neon Queen’ offers an ever-changing display of patterns. Its leaves emerge in vibrant neon green, with sections that fade to creamy white over time. This dynamic color shift keeps your plant looking fresh and interesting all year round.

Because of its natural resilience, ‘Neon Queen’ is a great plant for anyone looking to add a striking, trailing beauty to their space without the extra work that high-maintenance plants require.

Styling & Display Ideas for Your 'Neon Queen' Pothos

  • Hanging Beauty – Let its vines cascade from a hanging planter for a bold, trailing effect.
  • Shelf or Mantle Accent – Display it on a high shelf where its vines can drape elegantly.
  • Climbing Feature – Train it to climb a moss pole or trellis for a more vertical look.
  • Terrarium or Glass Container – Grow cuttings in water for a modern, minimalist aesthetic.

This versatile plant adapts to any décor style, from modern and minimal to cozy and bohemian.

Is Pothos 'Neon Queen' Pet-Friendly?

Like other pothos varieties, ‘Neon Queen’ is toxic to pets if ingested. If you have cats or dogs that tend to chew on plants, it’s best to keep this one out of their reach by placing it on a high shelf or in a hanging basket.

Why Pothos 'Neon Queen' Is a Must-Have

With its stunning variegation, easy-care nature, and rapid growth, Pothos 'Neon Queen' is a top pick for plant lovers of all experience levels. Churchill's "wilderness years" at Chartwell were perhaps the "important years" in preparing him.
Format: Hardcover
A brilliant idea for a new perspective on Churchill, and an even better execution. The author literally examines the guestbook over a ten-year period at Chartwell, Churchill's country home. Not only are the names of the guests fascinating, but the subjects of their discussions are eyebrow-raising in multitudes of ways. From Einstein to German spies, from politicians to celebrities, Churchill was not only busy maintaining connections he deemed useful, but his efforts to stay well-informed were Herculean. He did not hold an elected office during these "wilderness years," but he dictated volumes of books (no doubt improving his oratory skill), built brick walls, gardened, painted, and traveled like his life depended on it. It is fascinating to gain these new insights into the man. Depressed by his recent failure to be re-elected, he went to work instead of retiring. He imposed upon himself a strict diet of information protein, personal network building, philosophical expansion, and extraordinary production. All the visitors, discussions, and interactions ultimately resulted in the most fantastic preparation imaginable for a man destined to lead his country as Prime Minister during the greatest war the world has ever known. I found the book extremely well-written yet easy to read, finishing it in just two days.

Excellent pre WW2 Churchill primer.
Format: Hardcover
This author has done an excellent job of explaining the role Churchill played in preparing Britain for WW2 despite being out of government for most of the 1930’s. The author is a curator and historian who has managed the collections at Chartwell, Churchill’s home during that time. Very well researched and easy to read. Anyone who studies 20th Century European history needs to read this book.

Book for Churchill fans
Format: Hardcover
Not an introduction to Churchill but fills out a period of his life that is often overlooked. Some fascinating insights into people who visited Chartwell. I really enjoyed this book, but it's not for everyone.

An excellent addition to the library of books about the life of Churchill.
Format: Hardcover
Excellent story of Churchill's years in the wilderness, warning of the growing threat of Nazi Germany from 1932 to the early of the war. Thoroughly researched and well written, given the complexities of what was going on contemporaneously.

Just like the PBS series....
Format: Hardcover
This book is a step, or two, deeper into the 'wilderness years' than the PBS series by the same name. But frankly, the series, available on YouTube, is a better buy (it's free) for the money and quite entertaining due to its great casting with folks like Robert Hardy, Sian Phillips, and Eric Porter. But, if you're a reader, this book is worth the effort and cost.
