This green gingham skirt is Little Bo Peep meets Cottagecore picnic: a little 18th-century countryside, and a whole lot of twirling. Inspired by pastoral fashion and historical silhouettes, it’s designed to be worn flat as a full skirt or cinched up at the sides into a soft bustle for shape, movement, and layering. The adjustable side drawstrings gather the fabric into a cascading ruffle on either one or both sides and the front and back, perfect for showing off an underskirt or petticoat.
Uncinched, it falls into a full ruffled skirt with plenty of volume for walking, twirling, and possibly losing your sheep.
The elastic waistband and back waist ties make this skirt easily adjustable to your waist, and the green gingham print gives it that classic cottagecore feel.
