Duoderm Extra Thin Hydrocolloid Dressings
DuoDerm Extra Thin dressing is a hydrocolloid dressing indicated for the management of lightly exuding wounds. It combines a unique ConvaTec hydrocolloid formulation that distinguishes it from other hydrocolloid dressings and a vapour-permeable outer film to provide an occlusive moist environment.
Protection:
- A thin polyurethane film provides a bacterial and viral barrier when the dressing remains intact and without leakage.
- The film provides a waterproof barrier over the dressing.
- The dressing can be removed without damaging ly formed tissue.
- It is designed to reduce the risk of further skin breakdown due to friction by preventing contact with clothes/bed linen.
- It can be used on the body as a primary or secondary dressing.
- It can be used on skin tears and superficial wounds, dry to lightly exuding wounds, ly-formed tissue or skin at risk of further breakdown.
Ease of Application:
- The translucent backing enhances dressing placement and initial monitoring of the wound.
- The dressings are easy to use, mold and can be cut to shape to dress awkward areas.
- Wash your hands, cleanse and rinse the wound and then dry the surrounding skin.
- Measure the wound to select the appropriate dressing size, allowing a 3.0cm (1½ -inch) overlap on intact skin around the whole wound.
- Warm the dressing between your hands.
- Remove the top white release paper, being careful to minimize finger contact with the adhesive surface.
- Hold the adhesive side of the dressing over the wound.
- Align the dressing with the center of the wound.
- Gently apply the center part of the dressing.
- Remove the bottom white release paper while rolling the dressing in place - but don't stretch it.
- Repeat the above procedure on the other side and remove the clear release paper
- Gently mold the dressing into place for 30-60 seconds.
- Gently lift one corner of the dressing.
- Roll it away from the wound while holding the skin away.
- Gently lift the other corners and pull upwards until the dressing completely peels off.

Obvious deduction with roots in both new and old archeology.

The Iron Age seemed to have its beginning several hundred years earlier than has been officially declared. That was my assumption after researching for a historical fiction novel during 1750 B.C.E. period. I began the current research in January of 2013. I'm not a archeologist, have no desire to be one. I'm not related to any archeologists. But I respect the the discipline, scholarship and dedication required to be a good one.
After a year of research discovery my girlfriend was well versed with my newly formed assumption about the chronology of these times verses the old school beliefs. Referencing some material in this vain of research I stumbled across Rohl's work. To my utter delight I find out there has been a N.C. movement growing for twenty years.
Good work and plausible scenarios are laid out for pure intellectual amazement and entertainment for the imagination inside these pages.

Really Helpful and Easier to Use Than I Expected
Format: Paperback
I bought the APA 7th Edition manual for my college research papers, and it’s been a lifesaver. Compared to the older edition, this one feels much clearer and way easier to navigate. The full-color layout and the examples throughout really help when I’m stuck on how to format citations or references.
I especially appreciate the new sections tailored for students like me—it’s not just for professional writers anymore. Plus, the tips on inclusive language made me think more carefully about how I write.
It’s definitely a dense read if you try to go cover-to-cover, but as a reference book, it’s super practical. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey, but for the quality and how often I use it, it’s totally worth it.
If you’re in school or need to write APA-style papers regularly, I’d recommend grabbing this manual. It makes the whole process less stressful.
